New House!

Well, it's taken us a little while...but we've finally posted a few pictures of our new house!  We took these a few weeks ago when we had a little surprise dusting of snow.  It only stuck around for a few hours, but it was pretty while it lasted!

Canton, Ohio here we come!

As I mentioned in our previous post, Donnie & I traveled to Canton, OH back in August to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame and to see the Redskins and Colts play.  Art Monk & Darrell Green, two of Donnie's childhood football heroes, were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  It was a really neat experience!  Wow!  The amount of Redskins fans that were there was unbelievable!

  

Memorial Day 2008

It's hard to believe summer is almost here! Below are a few recent pictures from our Memorial Day trip to Chesapeake, VA. We had a good time visiting with Donnie's family. Saturday we headed out to a Tides baseball game in downtown Norfolk. Then we stuffed ourselves at the family cookout on Sunday. Before we started back home on Monday we had time to see how cold the water was in Virginia Beach. The sand was hot, but the water was freezing!

Here are a few pics of Zoe & Bella. They hunkered down inside with us all night because we had terrible storms move through, including a few tornadoes. Not fun! We're all safe and sound though, Praise the Lord!

Turlington Homestead

Here are a few pictures from the Turlington Homestead located in Coats, NC. We traveled down to Campbell University (Donnie's ol' stomping grounds), so we decided to swing by and snap some pictures of the original home site of Donnie's grandfather. The fact that it's still standing is amazing! Really a cool thing to see.........
